They say that war is undeniable
A necessary part of life
Well, I’m not so sure
‘Cause they’re making profits from the fight
That ain’t right
They hang a flag just above their heads
next to their trophies on a shelf
But don’t be fooled by appearances
there’s one concern and that’s themselves
They pay no mind to our living hell
Because they’ve got more murder to sell
Collecting claims that they could never take
If loved ruled those who habitate
This world. A place where our energies
Should be put into good
Trying to save save instead of to maim
All this destruction done in our name
Well, that’s about to change
War is a game that those in power play
But they write the rules so they never lose
Brush the pieces on the board away
They’re replaceable by millions more
It’s not our cause that we’re fighting for
Always getting less while always giving more
But who the hell is keeping score? And what for?
Isn’t this war??
